atelier artefact is a cultural insider tip, hidden in the heart of the beautiful wine village, Wachenheim an der Weinstrasse in the Rhineland Palatinate.

 

It is a cozy place to experience a diverse range of;

exhibitions by international artists, workshops, lectures, readings and various musical events.

Artifacts are much more than "just" that which has been skillfully made. They are also legacies and witnesses of events which give us valuable insights into different facets of their respective cultures.

 

The two basic metrics we use to determine a culture's level of development are the level of its technology and the level of its art.

 

Art, among other things, shows us who we are.
